So you fancy a Fogarty wool duvet do you?
Good choice!
It’s a cracking duvet that will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and it’s a great price to boot.
What I Like about the Fogarty Wool Duvet
Quite a few things actually.
It doesn’t have a tog rating because it’s perfect all year round. The wool is naturally temperature controlled, so it takes heat away if you’re too hot and keeps it in if you’re too cold.
You’ve never seen a sheep sweating right?
The price is really nice, some duvets can get outrageously expensive so this one definitely hits balance.
The cover is cotton, which is lovely and soft adding to the luxurious feel and cotton is anti-allergenic so it’ll stay dustmite and bacteria free.
Lastly the wool seems to be sewn into the cover so it doesn’t bunch up inside. Nothing worse than trying to flatten out the filling when you can’t get inside. And this means it’s really nice to put through the washing machine as well.
What I don’t like
A lot of reports of it rustling because of the cover on the inside that makes it washable but it’s definitely not unreasonable.
The wool is from New Zealand sheep, not really a bad thing I just grew up in a rural area surrounded by sheep!
Need To Know Information.
It comes in four sizes so you can buy a single, double, king or super king. As a pro tip if you don’t mind having the duvet draping over the sides then get a size up, it just gives it that extra snuggle.

- Double: 200 x 200 cm
- King: 225 x 220 cm

Hi Mr Lamont,
I’m not sure who you’re referring too? I haven’t stated this duvet is British wool, in fact I say it’s New Zealand wool, are you sure this is the duvet in question?
